This next house designed by David Vandervort Architects is an impressive eco-friendly contemporary masterpiece. Situated above the Ballard Send Canal, NEXTHouse provides an amazing connection to Seattle landmarks.
View in gallery The house was built on an existing foundation of a previous residence which was demolished. A rigid program of an site waste was implemented. Moreover in gild to alleviate the impacts of enlarging the footprint of the house eco-roofs were implemented to collect additional tempest-water.

The house presents three bedrooms, 2 and a half bathrooms, a highly functional and high tech kitchen, a garage and a shop. Furthermore the interior is very modern, the architects used a lot of hardwood flooring in guild to contrast the metal railing of the staircase and white walls.
